Community Hero Awards

We understand that the past few months have been difficult and we have seen true community spirit and support throughout our neighbourhoods during this time. We want to recognise all the people within our communities who have gone that extra mile so we have created the South Lakes Housing Community Hero Awards.

If you know someone who deserves recognition for what they have done, either during the recent pandemic or over the last twelve months then we want to hear from you.

This could include helping those more vulnerable residents with shopping, befriending someone who is isolated, supporting people in their community or leading a local community project which has made a difference to people’s lives or just using their time to make our communities great places to live.

The awards are open to everyone living within our communities. The closing date for nominations is midday on Friday 30th October 2020 and the winners will be notified by Friday 13th November. The winners will receive a £50 voucher of their choice and a certificate.
