Jubilee Close
The 2015 Jubilee Close development in Kirkby Lonsdale was South Lakes Housings first new build affordable housing scheme. The development of 10 homes was opened by local MP Tim Farron.
The 10 affordable properties consist of:
- 2— 2 Bed Bungalows
- 6— 2 Bed Houses
- 2— 3 Bed Houses
The Jubilee Close development is a high specification, state-of-the-art housing development. It meets the Code 4 standards for energy efficiency and incorporates many efficiency measures including solar PV. The homes have also been built in keeping with the local environment, including external render, stonework and slate roofs.
THE AREA
The site is located to the south of Kirkby Lonsdale, close to the main road and the A65 leading towards Skipton. It is conveniently located on the outskirts of the town, within walking distance of the town centre.
Kirkby Lonsdale is a historic market town located in the on the southern Cumbria border with Lancashire. With access to many amenities, a bustling town centre and surrounding beautiful countryside.
