How To Get Involved?
We are passionate about involving residents to help us improve our services and support neighbourhoods. We understand that people are busy, that is why we have developed a range of involvement opportunities for you to choose from.
Your views matter to us. Your involvement helps us to improve the way we design and deliver good quality homes and services.

Our Residents Forum
Our new Residents Forum (which has replaced our Tenant’s Committee) is providing a fresh perspective on the way we operate and run our services.
Made up of current residents, leaseholders and shared owners, the Residents Forum meets every 6 weeks to:
- Help us create and implement new strategies, policies and service standards.
- Review our performance and challenge us if it is not up to standard.
- Ensure that we deliver high quality services that meet the needs of our residents.
- Influence decisions, share ideas and make suggestions.
- Ensure that we are effectively dealing with and learning from resident feedback and complaints.
Summary of Residents Forum Meetings
A summary of each Residents Forum meeting is published here once the minutes of the latest meeting have been approved;

Digital Engagement
This is our way for you to share your views with us digitally from the comfort of your own home. Our online & telephone customer surveys (which take around 2 minutes to complete) & our Annual Customer Satisfaction Survey let you have your say whenever and wherever suits you. This is the ideal way to get involved if you don’t have the time to attend meetings.

Community Facebook Group
This is a digital consultation channel that recognises that more and more customers are transacting with us online. We understand that not everyone can commit to attending regular meetings if you have a busy lifestyle and this group will allow our customers to interact with us at a time that is convenient for them.
This group is for tenants, leaseholders, members of the community and is run by the Customer Engagement team at South Lakes Housing and monitored Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
You can join this group here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/southlakeshousingcommunity/
