Meet the Team: Bradley- Electrician
Bradley has worked for South Lakes Housing for five years. He started out at South Lakes Housing as an electrical apprentice which allowed him to work alongside fully trained electricians learning and studying to gain qualifications and essential skills in this area. He is now a qualified electrician and works as part of our Repair and Maintenance team on improving and checking our empty homes alongside our replacement programme for kitchens and bathrooms.
Bradley makes sure he has good quality workmanship which upholds company standards, complies with building codes and follows the required safety requirements.
Bradley said, I am very passionate about my job and about the customers within whose homes I carry out work. I pride myself on getting the job right the first time, to a high standard and with as little inconvenience as possible for the customer. No job is too big or too small.
As part of Bradley’s role he carries out the following electrical work:
- Diagnoses and repairs domestic electrical problems including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring.
- Conducts routine maintenance and testing on electrical systems ensuring that installations are to the correct standards. This includes fire alarms and security systems.
- Rewires faulty domestic electrical systems, such as lighting, heating systems, and alarms.
- Considers safety and environmental factors when carrying out electrical work.
He also recently won the little ray of sunshine award at a recent staff development event as a result of his smiley and happy nature.
